About the Network

PopLibNet is a unique online library network which aims to strengthen and develop the ability of the population community to share information on a regular basis. It is technologically advanced yet researcher friendly tool which provides a platform for not only the vast network of individuals and institutions whose capacity is being built through the project but also for researchers, professionals working in the field of population, and librarians to share information and network by harnessing the vast potential of advancements made in electronic technology.

PopLibNet is a network of libraries containing materials related to the field of population so that when you visit PopLibNet you are not only able to view the information resources available at the Pakistan Institute of Development Economics, Health Service Academy and the Population Council in Pakistan but also be able to:

• Browse through the online library to look for materials on population, reproductive health, youth and reproductive health.
• Find news items related to population in Pakistan.
• View the newsletter by the Population Council
• Find information about new publications in the field of population
• Learn about events such as conferences, seminar and capacity development activities
• Access and download free Library Management Software.
• Upload information about publications, news and events by yourself.
